What Are The Benefits of NLP in A Practical Situation? You may have come across highly educated people in life, who are supposedly intelligent but whose success in life doesn't reflect that. On the other side of the coin, people who are seemingly not very intelligent or educated, but highly successful? A bit of an anomaly or is it society’s emphasis on the wrong criteria? Could it be that you are struggling to achieve because you are chasing the wrong goals? When you learn NLP you’ll know where the missing pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are. People achieve very different outcomes despite putting in the same amount of work. This is due to the unconscious programs that are driving their behaviour. So, intelligence, education and hard work alone do not guarantee success. When you attend an NLP training you’ll discover the benefits of NLP and know how to put the missing pieces together! What is NLP?NLP solidifies the emotional, mental and spiritual intelligences of a person and opens new doors to new ways of being. However, unless we rid of our past negative programs we will not be able to unleash personal power. Unfortunately, most of the time we are not aware of programs that run our daily decisions. An NLP course can -
Why Learn NLP?Here are three practical situations, that highlight benefits from doing an NLP course. 1. Benefits of NLP in learning a new skillNew skills are ever so important especially ones that increase flexibility to adapt to change. At an NLP training, the first premise as we set the frame is to start with presuppositions, which are empowering beliefs or principles. Take for example the presupposition, “everyone already has all the needed resources available to achieve their desired results”. Understanding this and practising it, leads to a healthier pattern of thinking, which enables better and faster decision making. So whatever skill you need to improve whether it be in presentation, communication, studying or cooking, in NLP we believe that you already have the resources in terms of effort, time and commitment to practise modelling someone who does it well. So it doesn’t matter if it’s a general NLP course or an NLP for work course, you’ll be assured of picking up invaluable tools to help master a new skill or improve on an old one. 2. Benefits of NLP when you need to improve relationshipsThe six degrees of separation theory says that any individual could meet anyone in the world through six or fewer mutual connections. The world revolves around relationships, among humans, with nature and even the environment. We all wish to get along better with family, colleagues, friends and the environment we live in. Recall a time you had a conflict with a colleague, family member or friend where rapport was broken. Wouldn’t it be great to learn how to resolve such conflicts faster and build stronger rapport? People who learn NLP often report that they see a significant improvement in their relationships across the board. It doesn’t matter whether the relationship problems lie with others or ourselves, an NLP course can provide you with solutions. This is of course based on you sharing values with others and if the relationship is important to you. Understanding another’s position and having empathy enables you to step outside your own position to explore other perspectives. Participants in an NLP training never fail to be amazed by the immediate shift they experience during this process. 3. Benefits of NLP when you need to break a bad habitLots of people struggle with obsessive compulsive habits that affect their health and well-being. It could be over eating, smoking, nail biting or addiction to sugar. NLP has a number of techniques that produce fast and permanent results in eliminating bad habits. The Swish pattern is a useful technique. It helps address an unwanted behaviour, by changing key characteristics of existing pictures, sounds and feelings, connected to the behaviour. Transformation occurs when you are genuinely inspired to rid the bad habit and realise that the new YOU, is worth much more! It can be quite a dramatic experience during an NLP training to see someone liberated from a long-held bad habit. The most profound part is that in NLP, change work is done outside the logical mind which bypasses the conscious filters. So if anyone asks you “what is NLP?” I hope you now have a big picture of some benefits you acquire when you learn NLP. Widely respected in the business world and mental health arena, the many benefits of NLP at work help countless companies too, create and maintain better businesses.
It also helps individuals move away from their mental health problems to lead better lives. The longer the NLP course, the greater the benefits. It does not matter what area of life you have gaps in, NLP will help you set the record straight. With such diverse applications, why not explore ideas and techniques in an NLP training or learn NLP so you can apply them to practical situations in your daily life, as they come up.
