Why Do People Need NLP Certification?

That’s a good question. Why would you bother with NLP Certification? Why not do a course in NLP for selling or NLP for better relationships instead?

Like everything else in life it is important to understand the WHY. If you are planning to start a coaching business or become an NLP Trainer then it is fundamental to your journey to do an NLP Practitioner Certification course. This is the start of your journey.

THE POWER OF NLP CERTIFICATION

Many people ask me what is the rave about NLP? Why do people rush to acquire an NLP Certification?

My answer to this is simple. NLP teaches us how to use our internal machinery to achieve the best outcomes. It is a User’s Manual for the Brain. When you buy a car you have a handbook of how to maintain your car. NLP is a handbook to know which gears to change and when to change them, for the context you are in.

Why is NLP so powerful? Because human beings process through the 5 senses – what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. So we work completely through the senses – to change pictures, sounds and feelings that have been installed in us, when we were young.

For instance merely changing a black and white picture to colour, makes a person feel better. This is an incredible way to make change as it does not require any conscious analysis of why the picture was black and white in the first place.

So change happens fast and easily too. People enjoy getting to know themselves better and changing habits that don’t serve them. All of this is taught at the NLP Practitioner Certification program which is the first level of certification in the NLP journey.

NLP CERTIFICATION

Ever since COVID-19 took the world by storm, more NLP Trainers are conducting NLP online certification courses. For instance my 10-day in-person NLP Practitioner Certification has now been converted into a blended approach of online and face-to-face training.

This is the flow of programs to achieve an NLP Practitioner Certification:

1. Series A of “Get Ready For The New Normal - Self Tools to De-Stress, Build Resilience & Stay Focused” - online in 2 sessions (4 hours)
2. Series B of “Get Ready For The New Normal - Skills to Design Your Future-Ready Blueprint - online in 6 sessions (12 hours)
3. Pre-study with audio podcasts, an NLP Practitioner Certification workshop manual and a questionnaire to work through with other registrants
4. Face to face training of 4 days and 3 days in Month 1 and 2 respectively to complete the NLP Practitioner Certification program.

The type of NLP certification you receive once you are done with your NLP course then becomes ever more important. It would be wise to seek an international NLP certification that is recognised wherever you go.

Also, if the NLP certification is aligned to one of the co-founders of NLP, who are the rightful owners of this technology, that would be a second tick. This is recommended as learners then have access to further their knowledge with the very people who invented the technology.
